Known for many contributions of analysis beyond geometrics, maybe the most are the purpose of prime number functions and one of the earliest forms of an integral. From helping the origins to set theory to the fundamental monodromy matrix, he also set the stage for Albert Einstein to make his breakthroughs. If you look at his age timeline he died young and could have done so much more. The mathematician is everything I look for in the degrees of everyday inspiration!
