A haiku written by Lee Sonogan

How to Use “Bittersweet” in a Sentence Properly

I love that, even after jumping through hoops forever, I can still get that buzz, that hook. That’s very healthy, but it’s bittersweet, too, because if you don’t get the part, you have to deal with the disappointment. I don’t think I’ll ever negotiate those peaks and troughs wholly healthily. – Gina McKee

Surgical enthrust,

Solanum dulcamara,

Emesis nonplussed.

The history of the cosmosis the history of the struggle of becoming. When the dim flux of unformed lifestruggled, convulsed back and forth upon itself, and broke at last into light and darkcame into existence as light, came into existence as cold shadowthen every atom of the cosmos trembled with delight. – D.H. Lawrence
