(2014) Side-scrolling/Defense

Pros: crazy story about UFOs, zombies and cows; redneck art-style; several modes from shoot’em-all to press X to win. Cons: annoying sound, game too short, first levels too hard. In general, average Barn defense game. – re-critic (Metacritic – 6/10)
Disease spending across this indie farm, I did not know I had this on steam. In one sitting I planned to beat it at its hour and a half long-expected time. Then ended up spending double the time taking the bonus level side. Armed with a shotgun and a decent amount of upgrades, some cows are more powerful or quicker than others.
Getting to what to dislike, the sound might be considered annoying. In the entire game, the badger is the main common enemy to look out for. Overwise overpowered ammo types with care package drops alongside special abilities spammed wipe the field fairly easy. Then when you shoot from the barn mode is different as more come in waves that are fast and suicidal.
Then that final boss sums up this game as being forgettable while being easy. So remember to go on the top path to get all five achievements in a quicker linear fashion. It is one of the worst games in its genre I have played so I do not recommend it. The only way to make this better is if it was an arcade game on a standing machine.
I don’t know what to say. It’s not fun. There’s no depth whatsoever and it’s beyond cheesy. You stand there with a shotgun and shoot cows as they run at you for the entirety of the game and they want you to pay for it. No thanks – JimCorbett (Metacritic – 2/10)
