1. Six Man tag team match

Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso (Bloodline) vs Kofi Kingston (C), Xavier Woods, Big E (The New Day) – Winners: Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Big E by DQ – The Bloodline is officially hired to the WWE and showcase an early dominance. The New Day make a comeback for a while but Reigns leaps on woods and does not stop pounding him into a paste. Security pulls him off as the bell is kept ringing.

2. No.1 contenders for Interbrand Women’s tag team championship

Rhea Ripley (Hired), Awesome Kong vs Ronda Rousey, Shayna Basler (Surprise hire) – Winners: Ronda Rousey and Shayna Bazler – Kong cuts a promo hyping up Ripley surprise hire. Ronda does the same but someone with experience on AEW is also real friend in real life. Throwing all the strikes imaginable, the heavy hitters go 15 minutes. Shayna heels it up for her team to get the final advantage on Kong.

3. No.1 contender for the cruiserweight championship – Singles match

Buddy Murphy (Unsigned) vs Adam Cole (Unsigned) – Winner: Buddy Murphy (Unsigned) Both getting an opportunity for the division strap making the weight, this is the most fast-paced one of the night. More submission moves than expected as well, it was a slower-paced barn burner. Lots of false finished until Buddy got a quick roll-up for the win.

4. For the 30th spot in the royal rumble – Battle Royal

The Rock vs Undertaker vs Sting (C) vs Richochet (C) vs Batista vs Kurt Angle vs AJ Styles (C) vs Ric Flair vs Kane vs Bray Wyatt vs Eddie Guerrero vs Edge vs Jeff Hardy vs Jake The Snake vs Rhyno (Unsigned) vs Terry Funk (Unsigned) vs Goldberg vs Big Show vs Chris Benoit – Winner: The Rock – All respective existing tag teams go after each other until all are eliminated. Spot with Rhyno goring Bray Wyatt off the apron through the middle rope. Taker in eliminated first by The Rock and AJ Styles teaming up. Ric Flair is thrown over because of a comedy spot. Final 4 includes The Rock, Benoit, Eddie and Batista chopping chests red raw. Eddie and Benoit out smart Batista. Then 2 vs 1 as Rocky gets Eddie over the top clean. Then a few minutes go on and the Bloodline run down to the ring while the announcers yell it is No DQ. Many multiple teamed powerbombs and then simply tossed over for Rock’s heel turn. New faction leader with the best spot in the Royal Rumble.

1. Enters MAin Event – singles match

Cody Rhodes (C) vs Triple H (C) – Winner: Cody Rhodes (C) Gaining momentum since the most recent PPV he goes toe-to-toe with this veteran. The opener displays all their classic moves of worthy plus going outside the ring a lot. Triple H threatens a kid in the crowd. After more suplexes, spine busters and Irish whip impacts, Cody reverses a standing mount into the Cross Rhodes for the victory.

2. Enters MAin Event – Singles match

CM Punk vs Cain Valesquez – Winner: CM Punk – Freinds go at it to regain some previous weekly glory. Punk keeps distances to use lots of leg kicks. Eventually tackled to the ground to transition across the ropes. Going over twenty-five minutes it could have been rated 4.25/5

3. No.1 contender for Aew Women’s Championship – Singles match

Chyna (Hired) with Shawn Michaels (C) vs Sasha Banks – Winner: Chyna – HBK introduces Chyna to the newly formed DX. Sasha trying to chop her down was not enough for this overwhelming debut of big slams and a Pedigree for the finisher. Sasha wants to shake hands but Chyna knocks her back on her ass.

4. Three Tier cage match – No.1 Contender for AEW Championship

CM Punk vs Cody Rhodes (C) – Winner: CM Punk – There are weapons in the second stage but first they fight at the ladder and sides of the mesh. An escape of a GTS on the bottom floor. Cody makes it up first to get a kendo stick to then slam against the skin. Punk comeback as he springboards of a wall to a crossbody. Raking faces across metallic steel. Trade some holds some more to then climb to the belt above. Final transition as Cody does a fireman’s carry for CM to drop down to then pick up in reverse to do a GTH burning Hammer variation.
