“Licked and loaded.” ― THIGHBRUSH
Despite infection risks due to bacteria in the mouth,
History reports healing properties in saliva,
Instead of choking on your own tongue,
Don’t add insult to injury and move on.
Oral mucosa is much faster than mere skin,
Cicatrix may leave a reminding mark,
Surface scars nothing compared to other deep-seated attachments,
Like innocent animals do but contemporary even better.
Smile with instinct, then lick your wounds in the darkest of dark corners. Trace the scars back to your own fingers and remember them. – Author: Markus Zusak
