My idea is to paint paintings so that when you walk into a room, I’m pulling you in, or that makes you suddenly stop and wonder: ‘What is this? There is something groovy, something else going on here.’ Also, I want to give you what is obvious and what is not obvious to the eye. – Billy Dee Williams
If everyone had that one series,
Had a green screen to be anywhere,
That is the goal to many people of this time,
An open studio that is always full.
The only thing I have not really done,
How do all my bite-size pieces correlate?
I do not want to fold at the models the minority wants,
When the framing is primed it shall come together one day.
Knowing me it would become a variety show,
Making it harder to format only as good as its transition,
A lot of the best art is done on the spot,
Forming segments into overlying messages is difficult.
Cameras in everyone’s pockets,
Meshing written scripts not completely defined,
It will require a nine to five,
Somewhat podcast; experimental hosting to you from mine.
In a decaying society, art, if it is truthful, must also reflect decay. And unless it wants to break faith with its social function, art must show the world as changeable. And help to change it. – Ernst Fischer
