A haiku written by Lee Sonogan
I think the reason for my fascination with craft is what it represents, what it means in our culture, what it means in our history and in humanity. It was the idea that you could go to your butcher to get something, you could go to your tailor to get this, and you could go to your cobbler to get that. – Waris Ahluwalia
Thrill kill the message,
Half a dozen gateau,
Roof chandelier triage.
It’s something that you pick up at a history class in college, the idea that history and time is something to which we can’t even hold a candle to. We, as human beings, are just a small element in the overarching sweep of narrative history. That really had a profound effect on me, that realization. – David Lowery
