An open letter written by Lee Sonogan

For all the mean sceptics out there, you are one of the few nice ones. And you one of the most compelling modern poets I’ve seen specializing in more than one style! Thank you for being so honest in what you do that has made me look into what the evolution of my poetry needs to be. I see it’s all in the specifics of each and every syllable!
It is fascinating that all these different cultures have a universal connection, isn’t it? Getting too comfortable with the classic haiku and maybe even writer’s block to my epic poem, I’ll be keeping an eye out for your stuff for inspiration. I can’t make an ultimate poem book one day without following more by your particular example…
Very raw to serious modern dialogue or even authenticity, I enjoy your name popping up on my screen short or big. That is all I have to say for now but know I am a fan of ya content. For now, hopefully, I can generate something you really like so we can indirectly speak again.

Lee,
You’re very kind, but I definitely do not consider myself a specialist in any style! In fact, I deliberately try my hand at these many styles in order to figure out which ones most speak to me 😀
Yes, fascinating is exactly the right word! It blows me way, actually!
Thank you,
David
No problem, keep up the good work!
A letter, which I’d ne’er dare pen,
Approbrium of lesser men?
My hat is off to the Kaddish poet,
In celebration, let’s all drink Moet.
