Identity is a very thrilling and spooky film! The all star cast performed very well especially Ray Liotta, John C. McGinley, Amanda Peet, Jake Busey, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and John Cusak! The music by Alan Silvestri was good. The film is a little hard to understand so it not predictable! If you want to watch a horror, a mystery, a action, and a murder film then see Identity today because it has all of that in it! – Movie Nutball (IMDB – 10/10)

Years ago when my DVD collection was huge I got recommended this movie. It was the first John Cusack movie I found super interesting in the psychological thriller genre. Not giving away any spoilers, I promise; this goes very deep. Into three important layers putting its time into a three-act structure which deliver all the way to the climax. For one reason to write this review right now is that it is on the top of my head of particular films worthy of re-watch value.

People make jokes about the Busey’s all the time but his character amongst every single other stuck at the motel location did an important job in their roles. Transition to other places as well, this is where the screenplay shows their real colours in the meta dialogue. Hinting at that those numbers in the first paragraph, the red herrings explain it clearly but leave plenty of room in the unpredictability in whats next. Those twists and turns are so memorable, it has inspired some of my fiction before.

Overall not one scene is wasted and is highly underrated if the trailer below seems like your sort of thing. I recommend it for the various amount of twists and turns it is able to produce and OST choices. I want to rate it over an eight but that would become overt confirmation bias on my part. For worldwide appeal, what you see is so thought-provoking, the abstract shines through a lot of cracks.
