There’s only one way to describe “Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind”: perfect. It’s been one week since I saw the movie and I still cannot stop thinking about it. Was the ending happy or sad? I cannot tell, but it’s deeply touching. – Superunkovvn (IMDB – 10/10)

IMDB describes the story as When their relationship turns sour, a couple undergoes a medical procedure to have each other erased from their memories. Simply explain, this might be Charlie Kaufman’s deepest work in character development in a blend of multiple genres. As I have said that romance is not my biggest interest in fiction although this is one of the better ones that I have seen. Add on Jim Carrey in a rate serious role, this film is more of an experience than a movie.

Exploring the possibilities and consequences of messing with memory was never done like this before when released in 2004. Conceptually playing on our desires, the cinematography reflects a realistic betrayal in a mind-blowing way. Each scene is also perfectly edited in ever-changing shots, suspenseful music and general trippy content very relevant to what is going on. Intensity goes within the general plot in the interior states, focusing on more impactful stuff.

Perfect? No, because not everything in the dreamscapes will be able to resonate off. Nonetheless, it is beautiful in its philosophy, levels of unpredictability and even being ten years or longer since I watched it, watching some videos and reading reviews have flown how memorable it was. I highly recommend it if you want to be shaken in the personal engagement it delivers on.

Before the i watched this movie, everyone said it’s overrated, overrated, oooooooverrated. And after these returns i thought it’s overrated. WHATEVER This movie has a good story and awesome acting performance. But, most important for me: AWESOME EDITING!!! Lovely soundtrack and cool side story into the bargain! ENJOY IT! – tariksaygili (IMDB – 9/10)
