A journal entry written by Lee Sonogan
A precursor for things to come, last night I made an impulse decision regarding the video game Red Dead 2 Redemption and future recordings off the screen. As the title suggests I made a decent investment towards the ultimate gaming experiences and when it comes, upgrade the insides of a computer. Not everyone needs to improve their graphics cards on a desktop but it is about time the production value of this guy to go up a notch!
In the wide variety of choices, hundreds could go to thousands depending on how the state of the art you want. First time modifying such tech, my research lead me to the video below with a comparison in my price range. There you will see that the RX 580 can handle one of the most visually impressive games in high definition. My brought model being the Radeon RX 580 DUAL OC 8GB GDDR5 4K GPU is a guaranteed 60 frames per second producer which could also help if I want to stream something again.
Fairly new, its only cons is that it would struggle if running 4K quality while maintaining 60 FPS. Still, with some exporting magic and not all games being a necessity to run so high, RDR2 is the only game where 1080p would be the maximum it could handle. Regardless, this is going to be a huge change in capability from my 1g Geoforce GTX 970 to an 8g memory graphic card integrating potential with real-time performance. There is a video of for a benchmark test association in the future to be made which will provide the evidence to my comments here.
