Remembering Super Mario World - Feature - Nintendo World Report

Super Mario World for the Super NES is one of the greatest games of all-time. The graphics, for its time, are very good, and the game is extremely fun. The_Wagon (IMDB, 10/10 – One of the best games ever)

Selling over 20 million copies since its release 30 years ago now, this first edition of Yoshi made for one of the best side-scrolling video games of all time. Super Mario World gives you every the original 3 games from the nineties had plus so many other new features at the time. Fun fact! The game is titled “Super Mario Bros. 4” in Japan. Being a lot of many peoples favourite old nostalgic Mario game, how will I rate it out of ten?

Beating this game multiple times, it was because I knew the secret levels to directly unlock the last world where old mate Bowser prosides. To my memory, I went through all the other levels at different times as well! There you will witness its true power of a terrific Nintendo OST (Soundtrack). And the designs of levels as equally good as customizable ones on Super Mario Maker.

Firstly I highly recommend this game for free if you already have a Nintendo Switch and an online subscription. But does this game still hold up to the many other reviews people have done on this particular topic? To be fair and honest, the 3D games of Mario are better overall so scoring has to go down a notch. Not too far though because for a 2D game I still consider it one of the best of its time.

7.65/10

I’ve played this game more times than I can count and it just gets better and better. There’s really not much to say; Bowser has gotten his reptile hands on Princess Peach once again and it’s up to Mario to save the day. – Torgo_Approves (IMDB, 10/10 – 9 flat Koopas out of 10)
