Making an objective statement in the title, outrage is like porn because it envokes emotion to generate web traffic or media attention. The term Outrage porn was coined in 2009 by Tim Kreider of The New Tork Times also being a political cartoonist and essayist. Quoted saying “It sometimes seems as if most of the news consists of outrage porn, selected specifically to pander to our impulses to judge and punish and get us all riled up with righteous indignation,”. Addicted to conflicts beyond the fictional, reality television like clips stir up debates, and it is usually 50/50 down the line for those who participate.

That percentage makes for entertaining content although unconsciously increases the use of propaganda like action. New ways to sensationalised biased trends, savagery people are willing to be to a certain extent. Marketing the ego towards individual’s suspectable niche values or beliefs. Points of views so cringe, where you can’t look away. Toxic virtue signally has an audience to those ignorant to the curious nature of behaviour spread wide and far.

Manufactured reactions which drive people to take their orders in any kind of reaction. Personality centred and nurtured, a key part of what is the true definition of natural comes into play. What is the main idealogy is worth fighting for to keep all above the status quo than what outrage has contributed to culture instead of wastes of time? This obsession makes me personally sick, compelling me to call it out whenever the moment seems right.

Fact or Fiction? Fact! The continuing pattern of weak arguments and social justice warriors makes it so!
