A haiku written by Lee Sonogan

“We are between the wild thoat of certainty and the mad zitidar of fact – we can escape neither.” ― Edgar Rice Burroughs, The Gods of Mars
Inspried by human limitations and any other subjective themes.
Crunched down pitfall plight,
Puzzled paradoxes will trade-off.
Yet limbo I cite.
The essence of humanity’s spiritual dilemma is that we evolved genetically to accept one truth and discovered another. Is there a way to erase the dilemma, to resolve the contradictions between the transcendentalist and the empiricist world views? – E. O. Wilson
