“Sometimes suffering is the sacrifice you have to make to achieve greatness, success and your destiny.” ― Jeanette Coron

(Inspired by a Marvel’s Carnage t-shirt “No Pain, No Reign”.)

Reminded of the old Chinese proverb,
No gain, no pain,
Leave all comfort zones at the edged curb,
Then let them wash away in the enduring rain.
Hailing in the present from parts unknown,
A dynasty of staying the same,
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone,
Be dethroned to take back dominion of your name.

Conquer the inflicting carnage,
Taste pleasure in the illusion of misery,
Only so far of depth in the carcass,
You learn more from distress according to history.
Growth of courage by reflection,
Motivated from the valuable failures,
Nourishment in negative projection,
Reach the untapped realm of chambers.

Agony is inevitable, fate is optional,
Reign of terror or a prevail of virtue?
Rising to a point that is shockable,
Dominating your personal tenure has a nice view.
In embracing sour adversity,
Bearing the untold story inside,
Depending on the individual developing perfectly,
First ruling the mind expresses an era of stride.

“You’re gonna have to go through hell, worse than any nightmare you’ve ever dreamed. But when it’s over, I know you’ll be the one standing. You know what you have to do. DO IT!” Tony Burton
