Jesse Lee Peterson Quotes

I never thought I would be talking or finding value in a conservative that is also a fundamental Christian. Jesse Lee Peterson is considered to be on the far-right as a political commentator and a minister. Most known for his racial views, regardless of the first impression you may get from him, his words come from personal experience and peace that others cannot understand. You can assume that he is a self-hating black man although, everything he says is without emotion and as honest as possible.

  • “But when you see yourself as an individual first, you are freed to think for yourself, and you become internally self-sufficient. You start to break free from the bonds of racial conformity, and you start to see the good and bad in everyone, irrespective of their color. You start to be less angry, and as you let go of anger you are empowered to love God, your family, and your country.” ― Jesse Lee Peterson, From Rage to Responsibility: Black Conservative Jesse Lee Peterson
  • “As I’ve counselled hundreds of kids over the past twelve years, I’ve noticed a familiar pattern in the wreckage of their lives. When we see an abusive, drunk, drug-addicted, or womanizing husband, in most cases his addictions are indicative of his failure to stand up and be a real man.” ― Jesse Lee Peterson, Scam: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America
  • “But the politically-incorrect truth is that racism today is a state of mind, more than a social reality.” ― Jesse Lee Peterson, From Rage to Responsibility: Black Conservative Jesse Lee Peterson
