The link monster card Galaxy-Eyes Solflare Dragon that came out turned the Galaxy-Eyes archetype back into a competitive deck to use. Back in the day when I had a friend who would duel me online, he used a Galaxy-Eyes deck and I made this deck inspired from duelling him.

Combos
This deck’s main goal is to get Galaxy-Eyes Solflare Dragon up and a Galaxy-Eyes XYZ monster and a Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon all on the same turn.
Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon may be the main card used in this deck as you can use Trade-In to discard it and draw 2 cards and then use Return of the Dragon Lords to special summon it back from the graveyard and protection for later. One easy level 8 monster needed for XYZ summoning and Photon Sanctuary is an easy way to summon it or a Galaxy-Eyes Solflare Dragon.
Draw cards include Galaxy Wizard, Photon Orbital, Photon Vanisher, Galaxy Solider, Trade-In, Accelight, Galaxy Expedition and Galaxy Transfer.
Protection cards include Photon Orbital, Called by the Grave, Power of the Guardian, Return of the Dragon Lords, Royal Decree and any effect from the monsters in the extra deck.
