How I Would Design A Pet Sanctuary

“The Purity of a person’s hear can be quickly measured by how they regard animals.” – Anonymous

Hypothetically or theoretically speaking, if I had millions of dollars to invest and own something, a pet sanctuary would be considered. Thinking about how fun it would be, obviously it would be exceedingly difficult to actually pull it off. In imagining a location for all the ideal pets I want to have, completely from the top of my head I am going to write this article.

Speculating on what animals I would have in this fiction design of a zoo; it definitely will be an exotic zoo of some sort. Remembering the movie We Brought A Zoo, in this design the result will need a large piece of land liveable for these potential animals. A budget to create open fields with fences and some cages for smaller animals. Ways to obtain different kinds of animal food and much more to take care of them.

Maintaining a zoo like this will require people. I would turn the sanctuary into a non-profit business and apply for the government to get volunteers for it. And then allow the place to be visited. Maybe even allow people to film there because if I had this potential place then I would be filming stuff there and putting my experience there into my writing.

“Animals are such agreeable friends – they ask no questions, they pass no criticism,” – George Elliot

I am fond of many different animals that I could list off so many that would be bigger than this entire article combined. A few cats to keep the pests away and some tamed friendly rats in cool cages to breed and sell. Then one or two dogs for protection. I like horses but since working with a lot of horses, my opinion of them has varied. Two to three would be nice though for breeding purposes.

My farm would not be complete without an aquarium or a pond. If a pond, a lot of fishes with a huge net of sorts for protection. And in aquariums, I think it would be cool to have Crabs, Axolotls, Jellyfish, Frogs, Seahorses, Salamanders, Newts and more! Then if legally if I can get other exotic animals such as Foxes, Koalas, Sloths, Capybaras, Hedgehogs, exotic birds, Bats, maybe snakes and much more would be amazing.

So that is my hypothetical pet sanctuary and since it includes buying a large piece of land, there could also be a farm that I have talked about before and many more ideas. Any pet sanctuary will need structures designed along with where the animals would be placed. Making this start of a potential idea, I am sure there are many other potential ideas I could write about as well.

PS – A checky Goat, Pigs, Emu or Kangeroo and any other animal that needs a home would be nice as well!
