Yu-Gi-Oh! Deck and Combos: Lair of Darkness

A deck so good once it gets going people tend to wanna quit the duel. Lair of Darkness is a spell field card that can be abused with many cards in this deck. In my time playing Yu-Gi-Oh! I do not think I have beaten this deck, so I had to make one of my own. Depending on how you play these cards you can be either offensive or defensive as a deck destruction deck.

As I usually mention the main card used first, Lair of Darkness has three useful effects. First of it makes all face-up monsters DARK type monsters. Then it has an effect that you can tribute a dark type monster of your opponent’s monsters to the graveyard once per turn. Use this effect with the cards: Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair, Lilith, Lady of Lament, Ahrima, the Wicked Warden, Grinning Grave Virus, Super Polymerization, and Beat Cop from the Underworld. Then the third effect special summons tokens to both sides of the field.

Lilith, Lady of Lament is the second main card in this deck. As it lets you set any normal trap card from your deck to the field and if Lair of Darkness on the field you can also tribute an opponent’s monster to activate this effect. Then set a Grinning Grave Virus to do it again on your opponent’s turn.

Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair is the strongest monster card in the deck. It can be easily special summoned from the hand by doing one of the tribute effects in this deck. It cannot be targeted with card effects and your opponent cannot tribute it. While having a tribute effect of its own in combo with Lair of Darkness can place 1 card from their hand on either the top or bottom of their deck. And that can be great if timed right against the right deck. Plus, Keeper of the Shine can be used to summon it or a xyz summon.

Protection cards include: any tribute effect in combination with Lair of Darkness, Mirror Force, Quaking Mirror Force, Mirror Force Launcher, Starlight Road, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, Grinning Grave Virus with Lair of darkness on the field, and more.

The classic Junk Sychron and Dark Bug combo that summons useful level 4 synchro monsters which can also be used for an xyz summon. Discard either of those two monsters with Twin Twister of Super Polymerization to get them to the graveyard.

Due to Metaverse limited to one card in a deck now I changed the extra one in the deck in the video with Ahrima, the Wicked Warden
