“Why does man kill? He kills for food. And not only food: Frequently there must be a beverage.” – Woody Allen

Having not written about all thing’s liquid in a while, instead of a few existing reviews, I will make a Top 10 list and place them in order. What is your Top 10 non-alcoholic beverages, meaning any drink other than an alcoholic one? The question’s answers will be different and vary to each individual’s preferences. In this list I will argue why my choices are great and why I would highly recommend them.

10. Water

First off, it is the healthiest choice on the list. I always have a water bottle next to at all time while I am on the computer. Water sometimes can be so good I can drink over half of a water bottle in one go. Anyone could feel the same when they are severely dehydrated. Water is so important that I rated it 8/10 on my previous beverage review on it.

9. Instant Coffee

I have reviewed instant tea before, and I have reviewed instant coffee as well. Coffee is the second most traded commodity on Earth for a good reason. For the mere amount I have drank with a minimum of two a day over a few years I must have drunken over thousand cups of coffee by now. For that reason, instant coffee makes the ninth spot on this list.

8. Fanta

Number 8 is a soda I have not review before but have wanted to review. The orange taste tastes great in orange juice but not much else except Fanta. Fanta hands down is the best tasting orange flavouring beverage. I do not get as much as I should, so I have ranked it number eight on this list.

7. Solo

Much like Fanta, I have not reviewed Solo and I believe it is the best lemon flavouring type of beverage. A reliable brand, its sour taste is familiar just by thinking about it. Being the 7th ranked on this list, it is memorable but definitely does not make my current top 5.

6. Sarsaparilla

One of the most unique tasting drinks on this list, Schweppes Sarsaparilla is amazing. Such as I said in the in the review below, the word sarsaparilla brings up an image of the wild west cowboys ordering a “sasparilly,”. Simply this out there drink will taste amazing to some and if not, you will at least get some positive benefits from it with the ingredients nutrients.

5. Creamy Soda

When I was young this was my favourite drink of all time. And another drink I have not reviewed but always wanted to. The creamy taste to the soda makes you think it would be good mixed with ice cream or something else. And the creamier tasting it is the best quality it is in my opinion. If I had to give this one a review out of ten I would give it a 7.5/10

4. Iced Coffee

The more I feel like an iced coffee, I find a new brand I want to try out. Being one may I get my caffeine fix, it’s a nice change of pace from a hot instant coffee. For the Sheer variety iced coffee can do to tastes, availability and style, it makes my top 5 choices of non-alcoholic beverages for those reasons above and in the below review.

3. Cola

Good old Coke or Pepsi are the two cola soda I prefer. This is a beverage that I have not reviewed before and I am not going to. Maybe because it is too mainstream? Regardless if you want taste for a non-alcoholic drink, most people will choice this drink. And it may be the best mix to go with bourbon and various other alcohol as well.

2. Ice Cream Thick Shakes

Not a milk a shake, a thick shake. Reviewing milkshakes before, I would rate a thick shale a little higher than a milkshake. Thick shakes make me crave for it. Without a doubt strawberry is my top flavour but a thick shake can make most flavours into something even more better taste wise.

1. Red Eye Energy Drink

This list was inspired by Red Eye energy drinks with the beverage being first in mind. I still hold to my views of Red Eye drinks are the best tasting drinks made. It was my first beverage/drink review I wrote about on UNGROOVYGORDS back in 2016. Re-reading it now I could totally update it and give it the more improved review that it deserves. The Australian made energy drink has many unique flavours. Hitting my taste buds, it never disappoints.

Comment below what should have been in this list if you had written it! With this being my last scheduled post of seven days, tomorrow I will re-continue to post content with the intention of the unknown as published. Stay tuned for a possible Top Alcoholic Beverage list of my preferences!
