“She tore off a piece of baguette; it was both crusty and soft, still warm in the centre. It was amazing how something so simple, so basic could be this delicious.” – Kathleen Tessaro, The Perfume Collector

A baguette is a type of bread that can also be called French sticks based on where I live. French Sticks is one of the easiest meals you can put together without any toasting. And usually, there are affordable varieties at your local supermarkets.

Regardless of what style of French Stick I get it is always best fresh. Using butter and cheese is good enough not using more ingredients. Although that would mean that you are missing out on using onion and the most important ingredient which is Salami. Salami, onion, cheese, butter and sliced bread combination is my preferred way to eat the meal.

The hard crust and the soft middle has the texture you want to mix with many more ingredients other than previously mentioned. I would like to experiment in making my own baguette French Sticks If I can find a recipe online with the right herbs. If bread and cheese is something you like then I recommend picking up a loaf.
