Richard Feynman was an American theoretical physicist who I have not heard before until recently. Known for many accomplishments, his contribution to science includes methods in quantum mechanics and physics of superfluidity and particles. In these following quotes, either way, he had an interesting perspective which could be applied to more than just scientific theory.
Richard Feynman Quotes:
- “Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and it doesn’t matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough.” – Richard P. Feynman
- “Study hard what interests you the most in the most undisciplined, irreverent and original manner possible.” – Richard
Feynmann - “If you thought that science was certain – well, that is just an error on your part.” – Richard P. Feynman
- “I would rather have questions that can’t be answered than answers that can’t be questioned.” – Richard Feynman
- “I wanted very much to learn to draw, for a reason that I kept to myself: I wanted to convey an emotion I have about the beauty of the world.” – Richard
Feynmann - “It has not yet become obvious to me that there’s no real problem. I cannot define the real problem; therefore, I suspect there’s no real problem, but I’m not sure there’s no real problem.” – Richard
Feynmann - “Once I get on a puzzle, I can’t get off.” – Richard
Feynmann - “Reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled.” – Richard
Feynmann - “First figure out why you want the students to learn the subject and what you want them to know, and the method will result more or less by common sense.” – Richard
Feynmann - “It is necessary to look at the results of observation objectively, because you, the experimenter, might like one result better than another.” – Richard
Feynmann - “You’re unlikely to discover something new without a lot of practice on old stuff, but further, you should get a heck of a lot of fun out of working out funny relations and interesting things.” – Richard
Feynmann - “I don’t know what’s the matter with people: they don’t learn by understanding; they learn by some other way – by
rote, or something. Their knowledge is so fragile!” – RichardFeynmann - “Is science of any value? I think a power to do something is of value. Whether the result is a good thing or a bad thing depends on how it is used, but the power is a value.” – Richard
Feynmann - “What one fool can understand, another can.” – Richard
Feynmann - “The most remarkable discovery in all of astronomy is that the stars are made of atoms of the same kind as those on the earth.” – Richard
Feynmann - “I See that the imagination of nature is far, far greater than the imagination of man.” – Richard
Feynmann - “The internal machinery of life, the chemistry of the parts, is something beautiful. And it turns out that all life is interconnected with all other life.” – Richard
Feynmann - “The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool.” – Richard
Feynmann
Richard Feynman overall is one more scientist that was important and had a lot to say. First off he was an educator and for that reason, he was a professor that wanted to popularize what he taught.
