A poem written by: Lee Sonogan
“Everybody’s life is either a warning or an example. You’ve got to decide what you’re gonna be and you have to draw a line in the sand.” – Tony Robbins
Situations where you need to make a choice,
You will have to fight or flight,
Use your voice,
Or run into the night.
Standing up for something that is right,
What have you got to lose?
Is it time to show your might,
This is something I cannot refuse.
To get it off your chest,
And a win-win situation for all,
This is not about who is the best,
Talking about it will help overall.
Do not become emotional,
Being calm is the name of the game,
Be civil and negotiable,
In the end, we are all the same.
The alternative choice is mostly negative,
Not being able to reach an understanding,
Only act if unresolved issues are consecutive,
Falling on your feet is not a good landing.
If all goes good,
It can create new-found positive respect,
There are solutions to the misunderstood,
Its honest and it is direct.
