The Rock: Paige, I myself have come from a wrestling family too. I know exactly what it means to you. But don’t worry about being the next me. Be the first you.

Fighting with My Family is a British-American sports comedy-drama movie based on the documentary called The Wrestlers: Fighting with my Family. It is a film depicting the WWE career of professional wrestler Paige. It premiered at Sundance Film Festival on 28 January 2019. And it has an 8.1/10 on IMDB. So this has me interested. Also having Stephen Merchant direct a The Rock produced film is even more interested.

According to reviews coming out from Sundance, it was pretty much all positive. In the reviews people mention it is full of heart and wit. Exciting enough for non wrestling fans. Wrestling scenes for the wrestling fans. The WWE as a fantasy factory and much more. Other then having real wrestlers in it in roles, this film has gotten big actors such as Lena Headey, Nick Frost, Vince Vaughn and the director Stephen Merchant plays a role. Going the indie route for this film has also makes me want to watch this film.

I have seen the documentary this feature film is based on. This documentary being the real life story of Paige just before starting her WWE career, I assume this movie would be half based on the documentary. And then the rest some moments of her wrestling career. In researching this movie, it has portrayed female wrestlers from the WWE in it as well. This movie will be released in America on the 14th of February and everywhere else on the 27th of February.
Please watch my new short film below and tell me what you think?
