This show currently has an 8.4/10 rating on IMDB. What is Final Space? It is an animated, action, adventure television show with very clever comedy and drama elements to it. Also, it has been defined as a space opera. Each episode starts with the main character, Gary’s final moments before the oxygen run out while he is in space. This show can be described as an astronaut and his planet-destroying sidekick called Mooncake embark on journeys through space in order to unlock the mystery of where the universe actually ends and if it actually does exist.

To describe even more about this show. It is a post-apocalyptic space future where most intelligent beings have died. The Protagonist, Gary was in a defence force but, crashing a giant spacecraft, he was improvised and sent to space. The interesting part is his prison is a spaceship ran by robots and an artificial intelligence called H.U.E. H.U.E is inspired by the artificial intelligent computer HAL 9000, from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. More characters join the show as the story develops.

I originally saw this watching Conan O’Brien content. He is the excitive producer on the animated show. Having Netflix at the time, I watched the whole thing in a row. With it being 30 minutes long it is not too short and not too long. This show was originally a three-part series on Olan Rogers YouTube channel under the name Gary Space in 2010. This show delivers on so many levels that I am interested in checking out Gary Space. This show also has a unique soundtrack which is played at the most perfect times, mixing with the shows visual style. I recommend this tv show for a quality animated show.
