The 3rd president of the United States is an another politician that you could potentially believe in. He was a founding father and writer of the Declaration of Independence. Being one of his greatest achievements, he did not like it being rewritten about his comments on the slave trade and his harsh words against British rule. Even though he did a lot of good during the American Revolution he was also a hypocrite. He owned slaves, and apparently had an affair with a slave and also Abraham Lincoln was not the biggest fan of him.

There is evidence that Jefferson was addicted to learning. Some other facts about him include doubling the size of America while it was still ruled by other countries. Popularized ice cream in the U.S. He invented many small practical items. He grew over 300 different kinds of crops, flowers and other sprouts.
