“Oh, that Pokémon was handled easily!” – Pokemon Stadium 2 announcer
If you had a Nintendo 64 and liked Pokemon, you will remember this game. Featuring all 251 Pokemon from the first and second generation, this video game is a srategy battle simulator that was published by Nintend0 for the N64. This game does not have a storyline but many different modes. Developed by Nintendo EAD, playing this gives you a notstaga feeling.
Gameplay involves nothing but Pokemon battles, preparing teams before battles and some skin scraping minigames. Other then those two issues it is perfect for Pokemon fiends such as my self. Also for the time it had a Tranfer Pal to play and exchange your Pokemon from the Game Boy game. Which I did when I was younger. These days every once in a while I may get on a N64 emulator and do battle.
Many people who like Pokemon are wanting a new Pokemon sadium game. A battle simulator like this video game but with even better 3D grahics and all the new Pokemon. They tried in 2006 with the game Pokemon Battle Revolution on the Wii. I had that to but I had to gameshark Pokemon teams because there is next to no rental Pokemon in the game without using Pokemon from the Nintendo DS games, Pokemon Diamond & Pearl.
The more I remember Pokemon Stadium 2 the more I want a new Pokemon Stadium game on my Nintendo Switch. Game Freak’s Shigeru Ohmori and Junichi Masuda said “So in order to come back to the Stadium series, I think we’d need to have some sort of new invention to justify it,”. The Switch is that invention. And also these types of games are popular enough people have created alternitive Pokemon battle simulators of great quality and updated to modern times. Pokemon Stadium 2 Online exists online. I reccomend this video game Pokemon fans or people who understand how Pokemon battles work.
