Lisa: Let’s cock-block those motherfuckers.

This movie stars Leslie Mann, John Cena, Ike Bairnholtz, Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Viswanathan and Gideon Adlon. IMDB describes this movie as three parents try to stop their daughters from losing their virginity on prom night. With a budget of $21 million it managed to make 93.7 million at the book office. Receiving positive reviews it has been praised for its humour and performance. As well as empathy and intelligence.

This film was produced by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. Similar to their film Superbad except this film features female protagonists rather than male. The original script was titled “Cherries” and features three fathers as the leads. One of the fathers was later changed to a mother, Leslie Mann’s character. Being a good choice because Ike Bairnholtz character gets a bit annoying and could of made the movie worse.

Do not judge this movie by its movie trailer. It has more to show then just crude humour. Acting performances are in this story. Then the humour is a bit crude with some good timing humour with motives. This movie may be not to your liking and that is ok. The ending is sorta predictable but in a good way. I recommend this movie to fans of the concept and the people acting in it.
