A sequel with the Super Troopers 17 years later. The movie is about the super troopers establising a new highway patrol station in a disputed area. With a budget of $13.5 million it made $31.6 million at the box office. Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske star and wrote the movie as their comedy team Brokem Lizard. While critics saying it was “the long-awaited dissapointment,” it was well recieved from its audience.

This is Broken Lizard’s first sequel. After a successful crowd funding campaign produced $2 million in seed money in 24 hours (and $4.7 million overall), the film was greenlit. In order to maintain continuity from the first film, director Chandrasekhar refused to shoot until the original cast were at the same weight as they previously were. The film’s worldwide release date was April 20th, or 4/20. This movie has got a lot of refferences to a lot of different stuff.

Overall the movie was ok. The story starts of good with the super troopers brought in over a America/Canada land dispute. Then it does not develop much after that. Half way through the movie it’s just barely average jokes and everybody yelling at each other in a repitive way. Best part is the scene when the super troopers pull over people on the highway and messed with them. The ending is a typical comedy movie finish. I reccomend to movie to fans of the original Super Troopers and just that.
