Who is Marie Curie? The first women to win a Nobel Prize and the first person to discover two new chemical elements called Polonium and Radium. And those new elements lead to better x-ray machines and more in modern times. She died at the age of 66 in 1934 from radiation exposure that caused her the obtain the rare disease called Aplastic anemia. Her scientific research and radiological work eventually caused her demise.
