Rumours said it would be a new generation or a remake of the original game. With the first trailer out of it, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu! and Eevee! shows it will be a remake. For many fans of Pokemon, we have been waiting for a Pokemon game on a main console since it’s conception. But it has been said this new game will be aimed at a young audience to get new people into Pokemon. The original 150 Pokemon as well as their Alolan forms will appear in the game. The upcoming video game is scheduled for release worldwide on November 16, 2018.

The game is influenced by Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Go. And is apparently supposed to be set a few years after the original Red and Blue video games. This will be the second remake of Pokemon Red. The video shots we saw were all HD with increased graphic quality. Still, it has a strong Pokemon styled animations. Yo Pokemon Go is also connected to the upcoming game where you can transfer Pokemon from your phone directly into the game.

It appears that both video games will have starting Pokemon from the cover art of the video game you buy. Eevee and Pikachu are highly customised as well. Does not show if customizing all Poikemon’s appearance is possible. Saying that it seems all Pokemon in the game can follow your character around in-game. Co-op multiplayer is one first in a Pokemon game never done before. Looks like you will do double battles in co-op mode.

First announced at E3 2017, at E3 2018 this video game will be available to play. Most likely as a demo. One other feature that was revealed was the Poke Ball Plus you can get. You can take a Pokemon out of a game and keep it in a Pokeball in real life while it still remains a controller you can use. Like a Tamagotchi, you will most likely be able to level up by steps you take or something along the lines as that.

With only one trailer release, questions remained unanswered. It suggests that there is no more wild Pokemon battles. And only showed a few shots of the battle system. Will this game be able to appeal to both adult and younger new fans at the same time? By the next trailer I will probably be convinced enough to try it but liking it at least for now makes me unsure. I hope they release most of the feature in the near future to see how really good it actually is.
