Since I got my Nintendo Switch I have been patiently waiting for the new Super Smash Bros. to come out. It is finally been announced. Super Smash Bros. is a fighting game franchise that includes the most famous Nintendo characters of all time as playable characters. In the first reveal trailer it has said it will be released in the year of 2018. I predict it will be released in october or november. My favourite character in past games to play is the Pokemon, Lucario.
In the first reveal trailer it showed the most likely new character/s in Super Smash Bros. It featured the squid inklings from the video game franchise, Splatoon. Orange and blue paint inklings fight until the screen gets darker. Then they stop to see a giant Super Smash Bros. logo on fire above them. Just below the fire is shadows of characters in the game. People have analysed the shadows close up and they appeared to be the cast of characters from the original Super Smash Bros. from the Nintendo 64.
Character I want in the new video game? The squids from Splatoon would have been my first choice. Then, Papyrus and Sans from Undertale, Crash Bandicoot? New characters could be anything with the Nintendo Switch making new games of old that have never been on a Nintendo Console before. What about new items and maps? Well classic maps need to be added into the game. As well as more modern maps appropriate to new Nintendo Switch Video games.
I imagine single player mode to be excellent. Previous games had many single game modes that were enjoyable. In the new game, the possibilities could be endless. Story mode could be the most interesting so far. With the graphics and capabilities of the Nintendo switch, a lot of potential game features could be added into the game. Maybe an upgrade to custom characters or new move sets for each individual character you can play.
Multiplayer is one of the best parts of the video game. On the Nintendo Switch it will be insane. Online I predict it will run super smooth. With the two joycons, this will be a game played at partys and anywhere else in public. 8 player fights will return and the Nintendo Switch consoles will be able to join together quickly in Lan battles or worldwide.
Overall, I will be buying this game no matter what. Having it on the 64, Gamecube, Wii and 3DS, I will have the firth version on the Nintendo Switch. It will be a reboot of sorts and change everything we know about Super Smash Bros. The new video game competitions of it will be amazing to watch. I shall get good at it and join such competitions. Have not played it yet and I still recommend everyone to go and get it. If you do not have a Nintendo Switch yet, when this game comes out it will be cheaper.
