Animated shows have been going around for a long time. The Simpsons is the longest running prime time animated series ever. Since its debut on December 17, 1989 it has broadcasted over 618 different episodes and 28 seasons. Every animated show today is influenced by them somehow, even my favourite animated show Rick and Morty.

50 episodes times an average 22 minute running time equals 18.333 hours of quality animated goodness. Theres a good chance that I may have missed some episodes I liked worthy to be put on this list and worthy of watching again.
