Great Balls of Fire 2017 Results

Following WWE a little bit, I might as well write-up the results and give my comments about it. The pay per view is from the Raw brand in the WWE. Its main event is the first time match up between Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe in the WWE. The current form of mainstream professional wrestling.

The pay per view had a attendance of 16,579 people. It was sponsored by the video game Rocket League and was filmed in Dallas, Texas. At the venue, American Airlines center. I did not watch the pre-show. Currently in WWE it has done many things. But not bring out the best of all there wrestlers and create original storylines. Each story seems rehashed and re-spit out on the screen. Then there are the wrestling matches. Many of them are very good in the new generation of wrestlers. With lack of quality storys for older audiences, it’s very hard to get behind anymore. This is just my opinion. I am holding on to watching wrestling as much as I do by a thread

Overall, it had some moments. A lot of the wrestling matches were way below average for me. Only two of them stand out from the rest. The Ironman match and the main event. Storywise, they try one shot that’s a little different with the jaws of life. The ending in the main event shows Samoa Joe really good against Brock Lesnar. Then you know what happened. Below is my first WWE PPV rating that I have done.

PS – Maybe it all will pick back up at the start of next year. Such as the start of this year.

5.1/10
