Killing Floor 2, a video game review

A video game review by: Lee Sonogan

(2016) First person, third person shooter

Cooperatively up to six players now, this zombie game stands out from the rest. Develeloped by Tripwire Interactive, it was highly modded of the Unreal Engine 3. Various amounts of progression in the game gives the game a rpg feature with most gameplay online. It has a different mode that you can also play called Versus Survival.

There is many different weapons in the game. Depending on the you skill class, there is specific weapons. Saying that, you can buy out of your skill classes. If you want melee weapons go berserkers and buy weapons such as the Bone crusher, Pulvertizer and the Eviscerator. While if you want to be a medic, use medic weapons to shoot/heal your allys. Endless choices with various perks you improve on by level.

Skill/perk Classes:

  • Berserker
  • Commando
  • Support
  • Field medic
  • Demolionist
  • Firebug
  • Gunslinger
  • Sharpshooter

Getting this early on PC, It was alright. Getting it free on the PS4, I got an impression for it. Aside from the impressive graphics and intense AI, it makes me want to be better at it. It becomes more tactical the more you play it. There is a enough moments where you could get stuck in a corner or die and still come back. Its lack of bosses could turn player away but it foundation of features will make you keep playing it. I recommend the game to people who like shooters, waves and online modes.
