Transformers: Devastation, a video game review

A video game review: By Lee Sonogan

(2015) Action, Sci-Fi

Transformers: Devastation is possible the best Transformers game out there in my opinion. This open-world, action game has many features to keep you interested and feel like a God of war or Batman action game. Plus it has a detailed story described and the Autobots must prevent the evil Decepticons from unleashing a powerful weapon that will be used to terraform the Earth.

The gameplay features include various weapons, transform form into car mode, many combos, impressive Ai fights an rpg system and so much more. When choosing a character, do not choose the guy with the swords. Choose Optimus Prime or Bumblebee to make the game easier for yourself when upgrading your stats.

Motormaster, Menasor, and the situations resemble their toys from the ‘Combiner Wars’ toy line. Megatron’s tank mode is also from ‘Combiner Wars’. Soundwave never transforms, but he does eject his mini-cassettes, Rumble, Frenzy, Buzzsaw, Ravage, and Lazerbeak.   In the collectable section, there is a bunch of the ‘Generations’ artwork from the current toy series.

Overall, i was very impressed with this game. I did not think I would complete it cause it was difficult, but I hung on there and got it done. The game i all in one city and you get familiar with its areas doing missions and side missions. Then the Boss battles were super challenging and had impressive AI.  The graphics of this game are original too. I recommend this game to whoever can get hold of this game. Try it out, it might surprise you.
