The sequel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie made in 2014. Just 2 days after the initial movie, this movie was announced. Following the success of the initial movie, the budget was bumped up to $135 million, compared to the $125 million in the successful first film. It has a lot of action scenes and turtle goodness, but it has gotten mixed reviews and made significantly less than its first movie. Only making 244 million this time in the box office compared to over $493 million in the first movie.

This is the first TMNT live-action film to feature Krang. Brad Garrett did the voice for the iconic turtles villain, and visually the alien brain being looks fantastic. Also Stephen Amell, the star in the hit tv Arrow, play Casey Jones in this film. The debut of Casey Jones in this series of movies, makes the overall movie more interesting. The car Casey Jones drives is a Black 2016 Dodge Hellcat Challenger.

Some big name celebrities include Will Arnett, Laura Linneey, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Brain Tee, the wrestler from WWE, Sheamus and Megan Fox. This time, Megan Fox is shown way lesser this time in the movie. I would say it would be a pro for this movie.

Kevin Eastman: creator of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, appears as a pizza delivery guy. In the Halloween parade, there is a man dressed up as the Transformer Bumblebee. Megan Fox, producer Michael Bay, cameraman Alan D. Purwin and composer Steve Jablonsky were part of the “Transformers” live-action films.

To sum up the movie, it is similar to the first Avengers movie. SPOILERS! Just like the avengers movie, the main characters fight against an alien dictator who wishes to enslave the world. The last 20 minutes of the movie is like the alien invasion in the Marvel movie. Portals open up and an armada of spaceships attack New York. I am not going to tell you any more than that. This film is full of decent CGI, and action scenes. What you would expect from a Micheal Bay associated movie. If you like the ninja turtles, I recommend this movie. If not, maybe give this movie a miss.

6/10
